Rev. Alex Gyasi MBE is the senior Pastor of Highway of Holiness church in Tottenham and in 2013, was awarded an MBE in recognition of his services to the community of Haringey, London.

He is the founder and director of the Highway House homeless shelter which has provided shelter and food for over 1000 homeless people since June 2009. The shelter was awarded shelter of the year 2019/20 by the London Prestige Awards and the Haringey Impact Award in 2019.

Alex also runs the Highway Youth Club based in the Bruce Grove Youth Centre. Since 2005, 1200 young people have attended and benefited from his work tackling knife crime, gang culture and preparation for living productive and fulfilling lives.

In 1995, Alex established a supplementary school on the Broadwater Farm Estate in Tottenham. The school served children from the local area and from surrounding boroughs for fifteen years. Realising the great impact the supplementary school was making, he established the Highway Youth Club Summer School in 1998, which ran for eight years during the school summer vacation. Over the years, more than 1500 children have attended and many are now graduates or students at universities.

In 2013 Alex established Kingdom Lifestyle Mission (KLM), an international charity mobilising university students and professionals to voluntarily provide supplementary education to underprivileged children in Ghana, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Bulgaria.
