After a short break for the Christmas to New Year period, Hope in Tottenham’s Schools Engagement Manager, Eleanor Henderson is optimistic about the project’s continued success since taking the sessions online.

The Tottenham Schools Art Project, which began in the new school year last September, has moved some sessions online, with local artists happy to adapt and deliver sessions in this new way.
Currently facilitating seven artists, the 2021 School Arts Project is the biggest in Hope in Tottenham’s history, delivering Arts exhibitions, workshops and teaching to twelve schools throughout the borough.
Having already successfully hosted sessions to students at Belmont, St Martin Porres, Lea Valley Primary, St Pauls & All Hallows, Chestnuts Primary, St Francis de Sales, Commerce House, St Pauls RC Wood Green, Footsteps and CONEL, more sessions will be coming to Risley Avenue, Coldfall Primary and more are scheduled for the new year.
The project has relied on the expertise of local professionals – ranging from textile artists to graphic design, street and dramatic arts. Returning to the project for another year is photographer, Agenda Brown, who previously exhibited works from Commerce House at the 2019 School’s Art Festival.
