Mentoring

“The whole capital should get behind this project and help the young people of Tottenham” David Lammy MP

Hope in Tottenham runs a small, part-time team dedicated to supporting 16-24 year old Tottenham residents in their education and careers. Over 35 local mentors currently volunteer to help both those in education and seek work to gain, grow, and exhibit the skills, motivation, and aspirations required for a successful future: professionally and personally. We offer one-on-one mentoring to the individual with a solution-focused approach to mentoring, putting the young person in the centre of the relationship and supporting them as they achieve the goals they set themselves. We work closely with the College of North East London, Haringey Council and other local partners to help build the young person’s confidence, competence, and hope for their future.

“I am delighted to endorse Hope in Tottenham. Tottenham is a community which should be celebrated for its rich culture and diversity but most of all for its young people. The whole capital should get behind this project and help the young people of Tottenham achieve the bright future they truly deserve.”
The Rt. Hon. David Lammy, Member of Parliament for Tottenham
