Hope in Tottenham runs a small, part-time team dedicated to supporting 16-24 year old Tottenham residents in their education and careers. Over 35 local mentors currently volunteer to help both those in education and seeking work to gain, grow and exhibit the skills, motivation and aspiration required for a successful future: professionally and personally. We offer one to one mentoring to the individual with a solution-focused approach to the mentoring, putting the young person in the centre of the relationship and supporting them as they achieve the goals that they set themselves. We work closely with the College of North East London, Haringey Council and other local partners to help build the young person’s confidence, competence, and hope for their future.
